Paint the wooden cutting board and salad cutlery. With this simple DIY tip, they become a nice feature in the kitchen, on the dining table or as a gift.
Sand the surface you are going to paint, this makes the paint adhere better. It is usually adequate to use P180. Sanding paper that is too rough can scratch the surface. Wipe off sanding dust with a microfiber cloth.

Mask
Mask your desired pattern with tape. Use a high-quality tape that adheres well to the substrate, and you will get sharp paint edges.

Paint
Paint the cutting board with your chosen colour. Use a carpentry paint so that the paint adheres properly.
Remove the masking tape before the paint has dried.
Let dry.

Mask again
Mask just below the handle and paint the upper part with a different color.
