Frames, boxes and figurines in untreated wood can become personal decorations if you give them some colour. Our guide will help you get perfect results in three easy steps.
Start by sanding all sawn surfaces with sandpaper, so that the wood is smooth and even. Wipe off the sanding dust with a microfiber cloth.

Paint
If you want to emphasise the natural structure of the wood, you can choose a stain instead of a covering paint. It is a good idea to have a smaller brush for painting. A paintbrush that is about 35 mm wide is usually sufficient.
Tip!
Painting some decorations with glaze and others with wood paint will give you a nice visual effect.

Paint
You can also paint with wood paint. For best results, use a Platinum flat brush or Platinum oval brush.
If you only want to paint certain areas, you can use masking tape to cover the edges of the areas you don’t want to paint.
